FAQ

  • Why should we do a consult first?

In order to ensure that I’m the right guide for you, I like to have you meet me first. I use these steps to avoid excess messages that could be taken out of context. In short, I want to understand you and face to face consults help us both feel like this is the right step for you.

    1. Schedule a Complimentary Consultation

Begin with a brief Google Meet session where we can connect face-to-face, feel the energy, and explore what you’re seeking. This allows me to understand your goals and ensures the work is a good fit for your body and your path. (10 minutes or less)

    2. Bring Your Questions to the Call

Because this work is layered, intuitive, and shaped by your individual energy, most questions are best answered in conversation, not in long message threads. During the consult, we can talk through everything you’re curious about and map the direction that feels right.

    3. Choose Your Session Path

If the connection feels aligned, we’ll decide together which session style or progression serves you best, whether gentle breathwork, light-touch energy work, or a deeper awakening experience. From there, we simply schedule your first session online and begin.

  • A woman in athletic clothing performing a squat exercise outdoors on a patio with tropical palm trees and lounge chairs in the background.

What should I expect on my visit?

Arrive a few minutes early to settle in. You’ll check in, sign a brief waiver, and we’ll walk you through what to expect. The space is intentionally quiet, clean, and private, created for focus and ease. After class or your session, you’re welcome to stay a few minutes to cool down, hydrate, or simply take a breath before heading out.

  • A woman practicing yoga outdoors on a blue mat, balancing on her head with her legs bent and arms supporting her head, with palm trees and a clear blue sky in the background.

What should I bring to class?

Bring a yoga mat, a large towel, and plenty of water. A small hand towel can be helpful for your face or hands. You’re welcome to bring your own mat, or you can use one of ours. Wear clothing you can move freely in - light, breathable fabrics are best. After class, you may want a change of clothes or a cool shower.

  • A person doing a handstand on red desert rocks with a large red rock formation and a clear blue sky in the background.

How hot is the room, and why?

Our hot yoga classes are typically held between 84-88 degrees with balanced humidity in the 40-60% range. The warmth softens the muscles, allowing for deeper movement and release while flushing out toxins through sweat. It also sharpens focus where you’ll feel grounded, strong, and completely present by the end.

  • A woman practicing yoga on wooden platform with rocky arch and green trees in background

Do I need prior yoga experience?

Not at all. Every session is guided to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you’re an athlete, a beginner, or someone returning to movement, you’ll find that yoga builds endurance, mobility, and calm at the same time. Modifications are always available, you work at your own pace.

  • Person practicing yoga on a beach during daytime, performing a handstand pose on a wooden deck with ocean and cloudy sky in the background.

What should I eat or drink before class?

Stay hydrated throughout the day. A light meal or snack (something like fruit, yogurt, or a smoothie) 2–3 hours before class is ideal. Avoid heavy meals right before practice. After class, refuel with water or electrolytes and something nourishing for recovery.

  • A woman performing a handstand against a large mossy rock on a rocky riverbank, with a flowing river and rocky cliffs in the background.

What if I feel dizzy or lightheaded during class?

It’s completely normal to need a moment of rest, especially when you’re getting used to the heat. Simply move into child’s pose or lie down and focus on your breath. Yoga is about awareness, not pushing past your limits. Taking a break is part of the practice.

  • A woman practicing yoga in a tree pose on a rock in front of a tall waterfall amidst lush green cliffs.

What is energy work, and how does it work?

Energy work promotes deep relaxation and healing. Using light touch , it helps balance your energy centers, calm the mind, and restore clarity. Many people describe it as feeling both grounded and uplifted, like a mental reset.

  • A person doing a yoga pose on a large rock in a desert landscape with mountains in the background and a blue sky with scattered clouds.

What does an energy session feel like?

Everyone experiences energy differently. Some feel warmth, tingling, or waves of calm; others feel deeply relaxed or even drift into light sleep. You may feel emotional release, clarity, or simply peace. The body naturally takes in what it needs, there’s no “right” way to experience it.
